Progressive house DJ and producer Michael Brun has connected with non-profit Artists for Peace and Justice (APJ) to raise money for the arts in his home country, Haiti.
In collaboration with the Audio Institute, Brun produced “Wherever I Go,” a record that features Haitian singers J. Perry and BelO, merging electronic music with the traditions of RaRa of Konpa.
“‘Wherever I Go’ is the most important project I’ve ever worked on in my career,” he says, “It’s been a way for me to both share my heritage with the world and show the positivity that comes with investing in community.”
All proceeds go toward APJ and will be used to support the Audio Institute, along with other Haiti-related initiatives that support the arts. The song is available on Spotify and other distribution platforms here.
