British rockers Bring Me The Horizon say they are set to announce new Australian tour dates “ASAP” following the cancellation of Soundwave 2016 in December.
In a statement posted to Facebook, Bring Me The Horizon say,
“Due to the cancelation of Soundwave fest in Aus, we have had to look at reworking our South East Asian dates to fit around our new Australian dates. We will make an announcement on the rearranged dates asap. We look forward to getting to see our fans in Japan and Singapore later this year.”
Bring Me The Horizon, who also didn’t schedule any Soundwave 2016 sidewaves before its cancellation, said in December that they were “gutted” to hear of Soundwave’s demise. “Soundwave was without a doubt the best touring festival we’ve ever been a part of and we are sad to see it go,” the band said.
“For anyone hoping to catch us we are sorry, but don’t fret — we are working on our own headline tour to bring to you lot down under for sometime next year. It’s going to be a special one, so we will see you there!”
