The stage is Alan Walker’s true home. It’s where he goes to forget the world, to put himself under the spotlight and lose himself in the roar of the crowd. It’s his happy place, but it’s only happy because of you, the fan, the one standing out there, giving it your all and leaving everything on the dance floor.
You’ve been there for Walker through wind and rain, from the early hours of the day and on to late-night headlining performances. You’ve celebrated his achievements, and now, it’s time he celebrated you. “The Spectre” is Walker’s way of saying thanks. It’s a remake of an instrumental he released in 2015, this time featuring vocals that tell of his appreciation. If it sounds familiar, he’s been dropping it in his sets lately.
“The reactions and feedback from people have been truly amazing,” Walker says in a press release. “I’m very excited that’s it’s now being released officially. It’s a song that I specifically want to dedicate to my core fans who’ve been following me since the start.”
“The Spectre” is out today on Sony Music Sweden/RCA Records. Check it out below.
